Three Months Old!

Here are some highlights from this past month and things for us to remember:
- Smiles! The past couple of days he seems to be recognizing Chris and I and smiling at us a lot more often.
- Giggling and babbling - he loves to sit in his bouncer and "talk" to the mobile, and every once in a while something will make him giggle. It's just adorable!
- The chunk - he has definitely maintained his chunky figure. He has the cutest chunky thighs, belly, cheeks, and arms. So much to love!
- Sleep! This past week he's finally started consistently sleeping at least 7 hours a night (I'd better knock on some wood). His longest stretch is 9 hours, and we're hoping those become a little more frequent. We're definitely on our way to long, glorious nights of sleep that I hear so much about from other people.
- He's so much more aware of what's going on now. He stares at everything in awe and notices all of his toys. He has started using his arms to bat at his toys and is kicking his legs more. When he's in new situations (like his first elevator ride the other day) his eyes get so wide and he jumps a little if there's a new noise or movement. He's very curious about what's going on.
- His reaction to the sun - as soon as he gets in the sunshine his little face gets all scrunched up and he jerks his whole body. He has no clue what's going on yet. Luckily we found his hat collection and get him all geared up before heading outside now.
Can't wait to see what the next month has in store for us!
