Ryan got a new nickname this week...one he is borrowing from his Mom for a while - Chubbs! He must have had a growth spurt this week because he gained a pound since last week! He's up to 8 pounds, 7 ounces. He seems to have gained most of the weight in his cheeks, along with the arrival of a second chin! It just makes him that much cuter though :)

Chris and I had our first night out this week....sort of. We left Ryan with my mom and headed out for a whole hour and a half! We had a gourmet dinner at Moe's and then went to Target and Ukrops. No pictures from the exciting night out - maybe next time when we bump it up to two hours :)
Ryan had his first road trip down to Dinwiddie this week to meet his extended family - GG (Great Grandma), Great Uncle John, Great Aunt Susan, and cousin David! Of course he enjoyed the extra time with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Daryl too.

He also had his first bath in his infant tub. He does not appreciate bath time so far...he pretty much screams most of the time. We're hoping this will eventually change, maybe when there are toys involved and he realizes we're not trying to drown him :)
He got his first bottles this week too. He sucked them right down like a pro!

Lastly, Ryan enjoyed his first VT basketball game, and he must be a good luck charm because the hokies beat UVA!!! Go Hokies!
