We had a great Christmas this year. It was a little different from normal since we couldn't do any traveling, but still had a wonderful holiday. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at Chris' parents house in Dinwiddie. We got the chance to see almost all of Chris' family and enjoyed some quality time at his parents house. Here's a picture of Morgan helping her Grandma with a present.
We headed back to Mechanicsville later in the afternoon on Christmas day so that we could celebrate at home with presents and prime rib! Chris surprised me with a beautiful ring (along with a cute letter from Pedro thanking me for taking such good care of him) to celebrate the upcoming birth of our little guy. Luckily Pedro has held out until January, so the January birth stone in the ring looks like it will be a match! Overall it was nice to spend a relaxing afternoon at home for Christmas. Here's a picture of Morgan cuddling with one of her new toys from Christmas.
The Sunday after Christmas we were able to meet up with Jeff (brother), Jacki (sister), Steve (brother-in-law), Thom (stepdad), and Mom in Williamsburg to celebrate Christmas together. It was a nice chance to see each other all together one last time before all of the babies come (Jacki's baby is due 9 days before Pedro!).
Here's a picture of me, Jeff, and Jacki.
Our last Christmas celebration will be with my dad and stepmom, Terri, when they come to town to meet the babies. We can't wait to see them and celebrate the season again!
Mom and Thom stayed with us the week after Christmas and they took such great care of us. They stocked our freezer with food for after the baby comes, and I don't think I had to clean a dish all week! It was awesome having them around and we can't wait to see them again! The four of us got to celebrate New Years Eve together while watching the VT football game and enjoying some yummy tailgate food.
I hope everyone else had an amazing holiday! Best wishes for the new year!
