Thanskgiving Festivities

Thanksgiving this year started out the Saturday before Thanksgiving with our annual tradition of having a Thanksgiving dinner for my friends from my RLC days at Virginia Tech. It's a great way for all of us to get together each year and catch up on our lives. This year everyone pitched in and brought some delicious food to share! Thanks again for bringing the food guys - it made my life so much easier this year - and these pregnant feet of mine hurt so much less!! We had a wonderful time catching up, and I can't wait to see everyone again at New Year's!

Next up was a last minute trip for me to Rochester, New York to spend Thanksgiving with my dad, stepmom, brother, soon to be sister-in-law(!), sister, and brother-in-law. I flew up Tuesday morning and came back Friday evening. We were able to get in lots of quality time and eat so much good food! Such a nice way to spend the holiday. My family even threw in a surprise baby shower for me since a couple of them couldn't make it to my shower in Richmond...complete with decorations, presents, baby shower games, and a diaper cake made especially by my stepmom, Terri! See the picture below - it was so beautiful! Thank you so much Dad, Terri, Jacki, Steve, Jeff, and Jen for a great trip and a wonderful first baby shower!
