As always, we've been keeping very busy lately and Ryan has been testing out many new tricks. Walking is pretty much his main mode of transportation these days. He crawls only when he needs to get somewhere fast. He loves to push things while walking around the house (like empty boxes or hampers) and never seems to want to sit still...even for diaper changes!
His new favorite word is "uh oh." He doesn't always know when to use it, but loves to say it anyways. "Da da" is his other go-to word. Every morning we wake up to the sound of him yelling "Da da."
He's learned to climb all the way up the stairs and climb into his little chair and sit down in it. He is giving kisses and hugs and loves to cuddle with stuffed animals. He loves to play with anything he's not supposed to...like the trash can, toilet seat, etc.
Now that the weather is getting a little warmer he loves to be outside. He likes to walk around the back yard or go on walks. Whenever we have to go back inside he gets upset. Last Sunday we took him to the park down the street and he had so much fun! He got to walk everywhere, swing and go down the slide...the slide seemed to be his favorite...he kept walking back towards it to slide down again.
He's also turned into quite a picky eater! Luckily we have some favorites like bananas, yogurt, applesauce, spaghetti, and chicken casserole. Sometimes we can manage to sneak in some veggies!
It also looks like we're getting into the temper tantrum phase...his favorite melt down moves are to throw his head back on the floor or put his forehead on the floor...both while looking like his world is about to end. Luckily they don't last long!
Here are some pictures over the last couple of weeks!
